Meet Chase Dach

Registered Massage Therapist, ASH, Student Osteopathic Manual Therapist

The most important thing to Chase is presence. Carl Jung said, “Know all the theories, master all the techniques, but as you touch a human soul be just another human soul.”

Chase has a passion for problem-solving and providing the comfort that comes along with undivided attention, unconditional love and a strong foundation of knowledge. This fire led Chase to begin healing himself by learning and applying medicines from many different modalities that most would believe should stay separate.

He was first introduced to healing by means of energy work, reflexology, and essential oils. This alongside emotional release & self empowerment was a unique way for Chase to cultivate his self awareness. This also led him to become more aware of the people around him and the pain that we all carry, but fear to resolve.

After this transformative journey, Chase was led to further his knowledge of the human condition by studying the more orthopaedic and physical medicines of massage therapy at Macewan University. After three years, he was nowhere near finished his journey, he felt there was something missing and dots yet to be connected. This is where Chase found the beautiful, all encompassing and holistic world of osteopathic medicine.

Finally, there were no limits.

All the systems of the body could be worked with understood and resolved including the

  • Musculoskeletal
  • Neurological
  • Cardiovascular
  • Urological
  •  Reproductive
  • Respiratory
  • Digestive
  • Lymphatic
  •  Endocrine System

Chase if fascinated in the emerging science that studies the relationship between behaviour,  the mental/emotional condition and the physiological condition. Meaning that homeostasis or proper balance in the body also includes our mental, emotional and spiritual well-being.

Which asks, at what point does saying “I am sick” keep me sick?

Chase has further education in hospice care supporting those at the end of life and their caregivers with a focus on palliative patients. His training not only helps those at the end of life, but also those at the end of big cycles within life.

For Chase, the most important work is being able to walk along side, encourage and empower people as they go through life’s mysterious and intense transitions. No one is alone in their pain, no one is alone in their fears and all are welcome in the space he provides for healing.

Techniques you may experience in a treatment with Chase may include:

  • Deep tissue massage
  • Relaxation massage
  • Stretching/mobilization
  • Myofascial release
  • Craniosacral osteopathy
  • Visceral manipulation
  •  Manipulation of nerves & blood vessels
  • Joint articulation
  • Tui Na/ Accupressure

Chase respects and understands that everyone is meant to advocate for their own healing and that means finding the medicine that works best for them. Any of these techniques may be requested or vetoed. He looks forward to meeting you and being a part of your healing journey.
